Who am I? - A Self WHOIS Lookup Tool

A who-is lookup of the IP address you are currently using.

Audience:

Anyone concerned to see what information is stored about their PC's IP address.

Description:

This tool will simply take your IP address and query publicly accessible databases to provide you with a report detailing what information is available about your current IP address. The information may refer to you, or to your ISP. This information would be available to anyone who knows what your IP address is, or has been.

Please be aware that depending on your connection type, your IP address may change each time you access the internet, each time you reboot your router or modem, or on a schedule. It is unlikely that your IP address is permanent unless you have requested it.

A Tool to show what information your browser may give to the sites you visit

Anyone concerned to see what information is passed to websites that they are browsing, and if any of 5 common, and easily misused, services are available from their computer (HTTP Web Server, FTP File Server, SSH Server, SMTP Mail Server & POP3 Mail Server.

Description:

This tool will query your computer for information about itself, focusing on the information that is passed to the websites that you visit, and information about services that may make you vulnerable to exploitation.

Your use of this service constitutes your formal permission for us to carry out a limited port scan of your computer, and request information from services identified as running, you are requesting that we transmit packets of data to the computer at your location. Since these packets travel from our server to your computer via the public internet, you should ensure that you are properly authorised to make this request.

Network Port Scanner...

A basic TCP port scanner

Audience:

Anyone concerned to see what ports their computer has open and accessible from the public internet.

Description:

This tool can also be used to carry out a very simple check that your firewall is running and operating correctly. Please be aware though that even if all the ports you scan are shown as closed you may still have open UDP ports, or ports open outside of the scanned range, we recommend that if you are very concerned that you have a full audit carried out by a qualified individual or company.
